PILONIDAL SINUS – CURE BY LASER

Pilonidal sinus or hair cyst in the lower back is a chronic debilitating condition leading to repeated infection and foul smelling discharge from the sinuses or pits .Also known as JEEP DRIVER’S BOTTOM , commonly happens in hairy individuals.

Traditional surgeries like radical excision deep to the bone level and either primary wound closure or open wound, or the flap procedures leave an ugly scar in the back especially unacceptable in young females. Again there is high recurrence rate after these procedures.

Pilonidal sinuses , even recurrent disease can now be effectively cured by a novel and Minimally invasive , painless Procedure called SILAC or Pilonidal sinus Laser Cure under local anesthesia using DIODE LASER. Wound healing is excellent and leaves a barely noticeable scar. It is a Daycare Procedure and due to absence of pain and a small wound , patient can resume his routine daily activities immediately from the next day on wards. Complete healing takes place within 2 weeks.
